A prolific songwriter, Mark has been commissioned over 1,500 times to compose and record songs for people across the world. His unique sound blends his Texas red dirt country roots blended with the sound of the Dallas alt-rock music scene where he got his start, with commercial country appeal.
Mark's path to playing on stages like the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas sandwich a career outside of music where we launched a fastpitch softball training facility, becoming one of the most well-known hitting instructors in the game, worked as a Major League Baseball scout, created college softball's largest scouting platform and spent time coaching at the Division 1 level in college, where he was responsible for 2 top 35 national recruiting classes and had wins over #4 ranked Florida and Mississippi State in his final year of coaching at Southern Miss.
In September of 2022, Mark made the decision to write and record full-time and stepped away from college softball. Mark and his wife Candace have been married for 18-years and have two sons Boston (17) and Ellington (14). They reside in Petal, MS after growing up and spending most of their life in Texas (Dallas and Houston). The following July, Mark would sign a publishing and recording contract with Blue Pie Music based in Australia. In 2024 Mark began a path towards a Doctorate of Education from Liberty University and entered the public education sector. He maintains a full-time writing and producing schedule consistently releasing new music, including a viral video of a rock cover of Taylor Swift's Style. He continues to produce songs in his home studio for songwriters and artists and is available for your next project, no matter your genre.
Mark's story is unique and the stories that create his songs provide an intimate look into his songwriting process for fans.
